tve and -ve outcomes of IT in preschool setting

Positive outcomes:

1. Rich with resources especially pertaining to ECE.
2. Latest and up to date information.
3. Variety of tips and resources: songs, stories, lesson plans, lesson activities, videos and etc.
4. Interactive and engaging lessons for children. Eg: Animations for children visualization and better understanding.
   
5. A platform of sharing, communicating and updating with parents. Eg: Blogging
   
6. Keeping in touch with parents even though overseas. Eg: SKYPE
7. Saving trees, no printing.
   

Negative outcomes:

1. Teacher too dependent on IT/ internet.
   
2. Children too indulge with IT = eye sight problem ( MYOPIA) and slouching which affects the spine and the backbone.
3. It unlimited access, children may view inappropriate contents.
4. Children abuse the facility given to them.
   
5. Affect children social, language and physical skills.
   
6. Lack in Teacher and child interaction.
7. Teacher leave children unattended.
8. Increase in electic bill
